Adobe Acrobat offers one of the best ways of publishing and distributing documents of any kind on a corporate intranet, the World Wide Web, E-Mail or CD-ROM. When viewed in Adobe Acrobat, the documents can be annotated or modified and then returned or forwarded to others for additional comments or approval. Adobe Acrobat is increasingly used as the format of choice for sending pre-press documents to remote print service providers. In this context, its platform and device independence helps to eliminate many of the problems experienced by Windows PC users trying to exchange information with Apple Macintosh service providers.
