This QuarkXPress training course is designed for new users
who wish to learn QuarkXPress and have little or no previous
experience of QuarkXPress or desktop publishing. Starting from first principles, delegates will
be led through the procedures for creating new documents and modifying existing
ones, and will consolidate their knowledge by means of a series of carefully
constructed exercises at each stage. At the end of the course, delegates should
feel confident and enthusiastic about using QuarkXPress to create a range of
simple but well laid-out documents including short, design-intensive
publications such as flyers, leaflets and newsletters, through to longer single
chapter books, catalogues and brochures.
